Shehata (Amr Saad) is the son of a gardener Hagag (Mahmoud Hemeida) who opens a green grocery named after his son, Shehata. (To portray a dutiful good Muslim wife, Hagag?s wife gives birth to a son ? not a daughter). Shehata is burdened by fraternal mistreatment and jealously which culminates in a tragedy.
